Working Process Of Intermittent High Shear Emulsification Head Of Cosmetic Equipment
High Shear Emulsifier is a type of emulsifying head. The emulsifying head is an emulsifying device installed at the top or bottom of the tank equipment. The different stator and rotor structures of the emulsifying head can produce different emulsifying effects on the material. The intermittent high shear emulsifying head refers to an emulsifying device with a more obvious shear effect when emulsifying the material. The following introduces the working process of the intermittent high shear emulsifying head.
Working process of intermittent high shear emulsifying head
1. Under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating rotor, the material is sucked into the working chamber from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head from the axial direction at the same time.
2. The strong centrifugal force throws the material from the radial direction into the narrow and precise gap between the stator and the rotor. At the same time, it is subjected to centrifugal extrusion, impact and other forces, so that the material is initially dispersed and emulsified.
3. At the outer end of the high-speed rotating rotor, a linear speed of at least 15m/s is generated, and the high speed can reach 40m/s, and strong mechanical and hydraulic shear, liquid layer friction, impact tearing are formed, so that the material is fully dispersed, emulsified, homogenized, crushed, and ejected through the stator slot at the same time.
4. The material is continuously ejected radially at high speed, and changes its flow direction under the resistance of the material itself and the container wall. At the same time, under the action of the upper and lower axial suction forces generated in the rotor area, two strong turbulent flows are formed. After several cycles, the material finally completes the process of dispersion, emulsification and homogenization.
